I thought I’d be free and me,
But oh no! I’m not.
I’ve lost my individuality; I am part of one
I am collected and tamed.
And all I can see,
Is threaded in a knot.
I have been controlled; when once I was free,
I have become preserved and famed.
I am being collected in masses,
I have lost all my faces.
‘I am’ no more; I am now a ‘we’
Because I am part of one.
I am nothing more than a fashion
I am an accessory
And I have lost my individuality.
